On February 28, 2022, Clayton County Police Officers responded to 11 Upper
Riverdale Road, Riverdale, GA 30294 (Southern Regional Medical Center) in
reference to a missing person. Officers learned Sheketa Smedley left the facility
on foot as she was being processed into the hospital. Sheketa Smedley does
suffer from a mental illness.
Sheketa Smedley is described as a forty-one-year-old black female, black hair,
brown eyes, 5’09” in height, and weighs 254 lbs. Sheketa Smedley was last seen
wearing blue jeans and a blue bonnet.
