Crime Statistics
Part One crimes are defined by the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Program.
Part One offenses include Murder, Rape, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft, other Theft offenses, arson, and Human Trafficking (involuntary servitude).
All stats are categorized using NIBRS. NIBRS (National Incident-Based Reporting System) was implemented to improve the overall quality of crime data collected by law enforcement. NIBRS captures details on each single crime incident, as well as separate offenses within the same incident, including information on victims, known offenders, relationships between victims and offenders, arrestees, and property involved in crimes. The following stats are preliminary and subject to change based on incident review.
